Frankly speaking, I do not know much about alexa ranking until some paid blogging programs have used it to measure the blog’s popularity. Many more experienced bloggers said that installing the Alexa traffic widget will increase the blog’s traffic. There is also a general consensus of the experts that Alexa is not a good measure of traffic since they only register visitors who have installed the alexa toolbar.
