I have blogged quite a bit about get paid to blog opportunities in the past. Here are another way which you can get paid by blogging with a different twist. This type of blogging concept is geared towards community building. While these programs offer some sort of payment, it is lower than the standard get paid to blog programs. The advantage is they are quite fun and you get to communicate with other like minded bloggers on your chosen topic.
* myLot
This is quite fun. You’ll meet all kind of people here from all over the world. Here you can decide on what discussion group you want to join. You will be paid for your posts and how related they are.
* Gather
This is also community oriented with similar payment concept. At the moment, they pay in gift certificates. This will change in the future, hopefully. You can choose to join groups or create your own. Photos are encouraged and are paid for, too.
* Helium
This site is more content oriented than community oriented. You will still get paid in the similar fashion like the 2 above, but the emphasis is quality content.
These blog opportunities pay slightly more:
* Family.com
They pay per post, limited to three posts per day at this time. You will have to apply for a particular topic and consistently blog about the topic. Since this is a family oriented site, it is suitable for those into parenting and children related topics.
* The Pro Blogger Job Board
This is created by super blogger, Darren Rowse. This is a job board for bloggers. If you are looking for some freelance blogging job, this is the place to be. If you are into making a living with blogging, learn from the master himself. Darren Rowse does this for a living and have perfected the skill. So can you make a full time living just from blogging? You bet! Just ask Darren. He even make an on going effort to help bloggers to make money.
