Contrary to those hyped up claims of many survey ads, you can’t make a good income just by doing surveys. At least that is from my personal experience. You can sometimes get in on a focus group and make $25 to $50 and more in an hour or less. However, that is hard to come by. Most of these survey companies emphasized on demographics, so if you are not from the US, there is even a slimmer chance for you to make money by just doing surveys. Do not fall for those survey ads which claim that you can make money from any where in the world. That is simply not true. I have wasted money on that, so I know.
Even if you are from the right demographics, it is more realistical to say that you can make a few pennies to about $5 per survey if you’re approved for it. And bear in mind that you won’t qualify for every one that comes along. Sites send out surveys averaging anywhere from once a day to once a month, so that should give you an idea of what you can make.
Also remember that you should NEVER pay to join a survey company. And never pay anyone to provide a list of companies which offer surveys. There are many of such programs charging an upfront fee just by providing a directory of companies which offer surveys. Many of these lists are outdated. Anyway, it might take some effort, but you can find them on the internet if you spend some time to do a search.
Before you join any survey companies, do check out Survey Police. It is a great site with good information on survey sites as well as provide a place where anyone can rate the survey companies. It has a list of top 10 survey sites which can give you a very good idea of the companies which are genuine. You can file a complaint too if you have been scammed.
