Bloggers, Janice and Susan, from 5 Minutes for Mom, are throwing a huge blog party – complete with over a hundred prizes – and bloggers from all over the world are linking up and partying with other bloggers. Over 885 bloggers so far have added their names to the list of participating partiers with only a day of the party to go. “This will be the place to be,” said Janice. “Get your blog noticed, win prizes, hang out with your friends and meet some new ones.”
On Friday March 9, 2007, the party will be officially over with the list of winners and their prizes posted on the home page at 5 Minutes for Mom. Some of the prizes include an original-style Big Wheel® ride on toy, a three-month subscription to Podfitness.com and eDiets.com, various gift cards and certificates, handcrafted jewelry and more. Participants of the party donated almost all of the prizes.
The Ultimate Blog Party creates traffic and exposure for all of the bloggers involved. Participants who signed up created a party post for guests to read and comment on at their blogs, then visited hundreds of other participating blogs.
5 Minutes for Mom is a blog that focuses on parenting, shopping and other resources important to moms. As work-at-home moms, Janice and Susan, owners of www.pedalcarsandretro.com and www.a-rocking-horse-to-love.com, designed a site that would help, encourage and entertain moms, while bringing exposure to mom-run blogs, sites and stores.
